Solution Overview
The Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track Reference Architecture Guide details two distinct management design patterns. Pattern one uses a dedicated host cluster for the fabric management systems and has each Microsoft System Center 2012 component configured for high availability and for scalability. This is the recommended pattern. Design pattern two involves running the fabric management virtual machines on the fabric itself. Either pattern will result in a fully integrated private cloud utilizing Hyper-V and System Center 2012 as depicted below.
